D3100

I went to my local shop and was looking at the DSLR cameras they had and the guy showed me a D3100 and a Sony a35. The thing I like most about the Sony was the panoramic continuous shot option and that there was no lag when you took pictures using the screen. My question is, does Nikon make a camera with the continuous shot option and one that doesn't lag as bad as the 3100?

You are right, it's making the Sony look alot better choice lol personally I thought the Sony was amazing but I like Nikon that's why I asked lol

Sony seems to develop many of the sensors Nikon uses. The difference is Nikon has better image processors and auto focus systems. The new sony 24mp sensor in their camera has fast FPS, but only on the initial burst, from there the sony processor backs up and slows down. I'd rather have slower fps and sharper images.

Im not sure that Nikon actualy make sensors. I know the the sensor in the D7000 is sony and its also used
in the Pentax K5. Its like sony buy a lot of stuff from the likes of LG etc.
Its not unusual for electronic manufacturers to share components etc.
