Can Anonymous really pull it off?

Tomorrow is Operation Blackout...Anonymous or someone is going to shut down the net in protest against people who try to stop freedom of speech. So if you can't log on tomorrow...now you know...

It is possible to shut down segments of the internet but it is usually only a very small part. To my knowledge no one has been able to shut down the entire internet yet. To many pieces, places and servers.

All the security geeks say it is probably impossible to pull off but these Anonymous folks say they are going to do it...I can't wait to see what happens...what if they turned it off and no one was able to turn it back on??? I'll start having Nikonite withdrawals...lol

Well, it's almost 8 am and I got logged on.

Hmmmm. Anonymous says that they will shut down the net on April Fools Day.

Is it just me or is this obvious as hell?

This seems like the biggest "WELL DUUUH!!!" in history.
