Newbie on forum, gets d300s.....

hello all I am a newbie to your forum, and have just nipped in to introduce myself in new members...

and thought I would let you all know ( well I had to tell someone ) I have just purchased myself a D300s to go along with my D90 and D40... To say I am pleased with the D300s would be a understatement, only had it for just over a week and have tried it out on my BIF photography and motorsport both are now a lot easier with the superb focus system and 7 fps..I will still be taking my d90 out with me but feel the d300 will be getting well used..

Hi there Steve! First of all welcome to Nikonites! Glad to meet you!

Well shooting birds in flight and motocross are 2 great reasons to get a camera like the D300s and it's amazing AF system. I'm especially looking forward to seeing some of those motocross photos!

Well my new battery grip for my D300s turned up today, only a third party one, but I must say it works as good as my nikon one that I put on my D90..I am just sooo pleased with this D300s.
