Did you Name your Camera?

I've been MIA, I know & am still using my crappy phone for the Internet but have been educating myself on Photography everyday =] Anyway the reason why I ask "Did you name your camera" is bc my friend named hers & now I'm seeing that a few pro photographers have named their cameras also.

I have never named an inanimate object before, other than teddy bears when I was little. So just interested in what you all have named your cameras if you did & why was the reason you gave it that name? (Im saving for my 1st camera, but think I might name it after I get attached to it, haha)

I named my D3100 "Nick". Whenever I head out to shoot, I tell my best 9/10ths that Nick and I are going out to play. :excitement:

No, can't say I have. Never crossed my mind.

As a matter of fact, I have. My D40 is Little Nick and my D200 is Big Nick....for obvious reasons.

I never thought of it either, but now I wonder what that inanimate object thinks of me?? I don't think I could print it here if it could speak!!!!

Half Assed photographer maybe on the light side.!!!!

I am SOOOOO glad that Dikon is NOT the camera manufacturer!!!
