J jdeg ^ broke something Staff member May 19, 2010 #2 Re: Defects in photographs Is it on every single picture you take? Either the image sensor is damaged or dirty. I would get a image sensor cleaning kit and if that doesn't work take it to an authorized Nikon repair shop.
