Anyone From North Carolina?

I am going on a family vacation this summer in July to the Outter Banks and looking for some suggestions on what to do and also where to photograph

You will be visiting the Outer Banks at the height of the tourists season. How-ever, the photo ops are many and varied. You have Kitty Hawk to visit and shoot at the Wright brothers Museum, the Currituck lighthouse, the Bodies Island Lighthouse, the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse and the Ocracoke Island Light. A short 2 hour ferry ride will get you towards the Cape Lookout Lighthouse. While on Ocracoke, chow down at Howard's Pub. Contrary to the name, this is a fantastic family restaurant.
Go to The Official Travel & Tourism Website for North Carolina and request a travel brochure. With any kind of luck at all, I will also be visiting Ocracoke at around the same time. We may run into one another.

Just look for the guy in the funny hat and strange southern type accent. He'll be carrying a camera and pointing it at anything that looks like a lighthouse.
