age of lenses

found a site http:// Nikon Lens Serial Nos that shows what year my older lenses were made by serial #s. My 35-70 was made in 94, 28mm in 81 and the 50mm in 1962. Happy 50th to my 50mm.

That's pretty cool and just confirms that the investment in good glass is a wise one.

i was guessing my 50 was only 40. boy he looks good for his age.

the 50 and the 28 was with a nikomat camera.
