d40 menus in Chinese language

I picked up my D40 during my trip to China. As soon as I switch on the camera the menus are in Chinese language which I am unable to comprehend. What do I do?

Follow these steps:

• Turn on the camera
• Press the menu button (bottom left on the back)
• Press the down arrow on the directional pad 3 times to select the wrench icon
• Press the right arrow once - then down 7 times - the right once more
• Press the up arrow 10 (or 11 depending on simplified or traditional Chinses) times to select English
