I've had my MB-D11 battery grip for awhile now. I like the feel and function without a doubt. I had one minor complaint about it and the Nikon battery tray. The AA batteries hold firmly however the tray for the EN EL15 battery clicks into place but when the camera is tilted in a certain way you can feel the battery shift. It's fairly subtle but enough to gripe, esp. after spending $250. I did a small mod to fix the problem. I took a rubber footpad (the kind that comes in a set of four when you purchase a router or other electronic device to stick them on) trimmed a little off the edge and placed it in the tray to give the right amount of pressure so the click mechanism holds the battery firm.
