Just want to say a hello to everyone here at nikonites
My mrs bought me a d3100 with kit lens for Xmas as iv been interested in photography for a while my dad was a nikon slr user in his day so following suit but in the Dslr world, I hope to learn a lot from been here and put tips and feedback into practice.

Hello Adam, welcome to Nikonites. This is a great place to learn. You can read forever and then try some of the techniques others are using. Just jump in and participate.
