Thats a lot like saying that if you sharpen the picture on your TV when you are connected, it will sharpen the image in your camera.

Bubba, that ain't gonna happen.

No, adjusting the diopter of the viewfinder will have no effect on the sharpness of the images. The proper way to adjust the diopter is to set it so that the viewfinder info (aperture, shutter speed, etc.) appears the sharpest.
