I was HACKED !!!!! GRRRRRRRRR

My email was hacked today... I dont know how far this low life morin got into my personal stuff... but I have changed my contact email and sign in passward here on this site... hopefully that will keep this butthead out of it!

He was after your fabulous pictures no doubt! Good luck with that.

Sometimes they get in simply by guessing the password (dictionary/brute force), especially if it was something simple. I had my ebay account broken into once. They posted an expensive swing set for sale. Why a swing set? Who the hell knows.

I also see bots hitting the servers this site is on all the time. Luckily they're protected. Their intention is usually to break in and 'do something'. Usually the purpose is to make a server a spam e-mail drone.

Password Creation 101:

1. Use at least 1 capital letter
2. Use at least 1 symbol (!@#$%, etc)
3. Don't include numbers like your birth date or anniversary
4. Don't use common words like God or password
5. Should be at least 6-8 characters in length
6. Don't use a common password for everything

Your best bet is to use a random password generator. Today's web browsers can save/store passwords for you, so your best bet is to have a password that has no rhyme or reason.
