Beginner Photographer Looking to meet D7200 Toronto

Hi I purchased a D7200 and I'm looking for a beginner's tutorial session.

I was wandering if anyone can meet.

I would look in your area to see if there is aa local camera club. And welcome to the forum. You will find a lot of experienced Nikon shooters here. Most of the advice you will get does not matter what camera you use. But we have a lot of D7100 and D7200 shooters here.

Under camera just put the model number like D7200; Once you put the first letter like D you will see a list of all the cameras in the database pop up. The more numbers you put in the smaller the list becomes. When you see your camera just click on it, Be sure to click on "Save Changes" in the lower right corner.

Welcome to the forum. There are a lot of folks here that have D7200 camera bodies. I agree with Don that your best bet is to find a local camera club. Also there are a number of Youtube videos on recommended initial setup. I got familiar with the manual, and I also bought a handbook that was very helpful in getting to know the camera. I bought "David Busch’s Nikon D7200 Guide to Digital SLR Photography", below is a link.

I think you will enjoy the camera. It is very versatile. Of course you can find a lot of what you are looking for here by searching the forum or simply posting a question.

I will say this... I never liked reading instructions... but in this case the handbook and manual are just very helpful. This camera was much different then my D3200
