Newb who just bought a Nikon D40x

Hey there my name is Glenn and I'm about to be living out of my van traveling the country for the next year or so and figured it would be a great time to get into photography so I bought a d40x used off of Craigslist. I'm on a tight budget or I would have gotten a newer model camera, but It will still be fun to take shots with! If any of you have any advice for a new photography student please let me know!

Welcome to the forum. The advice I will give is take lots of pictures and be sure to have plenty of SD cards. Enjoy your trip.
