I did a quick AF comparison of the Olympus 45mm F1.8 and the Nikon 1 32mm F1.2. The lenses were used on an Olympus OM-D E-M10 and Nikon 1 V1 respectively. You can watch the video on YT: https://youtu.be/VIyhKmf4YvI

There doesn't seem to be much of difference between the AF speed of the Olympus 45mm F1.8 and Nikon 1 32mm F1.2, regardless of the lighting conditions. Of course, cameras also play their part in regard to AF performance, so this test could look a lot different, if the lenses were used on latest and greatest micro 4/3 and Nikon 1 cameras (say Olympus OM-D E-M1II and Nikon 1 V3). Also, since both cameras use contrast AF (Nikon 1 V1 in low light), how fast they will focus also depends on the contrast in the scene and whether you as a user can identify high contrast edges and aim with the AF box in the direction of those high contrast edges.
