Odd focus shake - video example inside

It's not my video but someone else's with the same issue. They put their iPhone up to the viewfinder for the video.

Mine just started today when I went to the lake. 55-300 VR on my D5200. Haven't tried my other lense yet (18-55mm) but will tomorrow.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated!!

I haven't seen this, but the video you posted has the person saying that it was his lens that was causing the problem. He had the lens repaired by Nikon.

Posting a video from a different camera / Person / Lens is not helpful at all. Post a video shot with your camera so we can see it. Not a cell phone shot of the camera shooting the video.
