On 1 anyone ?

Anyone using On1 ?

I am using ON1 Resize 10 which was released at half price before they came out with a newer version. [MENTION=6277]Don Kuykendall[/MENTION] posted here on Nikonites about it a while back. It works great!

I've been using the the ON1 free edition. Works pretty well. The filters work good. And for the most part it is a pretty easy program to use.

I pretty much run each photo through it if I print it. Resize it to the correct print size.

I resize in Photoshop, it was the rest of On1 I wanted information about.....

The resize in On1 works different that Photoshop. Totally different process and much much better.

Bought version 8, which was quickly replaced by 8.5 (free), which was quickly replaced by 9 (upgrade), which was quickly replaced by 9.5 (free if you already upgraded), which was replaced by 10 (another upgrade), which was...

I still have the original, and was nicely upgraded for free to 9 when the 8 stopped working when Adobe released Ps CC 2015, but I don't use it mainly because a filter program that costs that much should not go require upgrades every year. I'll use the Nik Collection over it any day of the week. It's got a couple handy things, but not worth the money when Nik is free and, frankly, a better tool IMHO.

I bought ON1 primarily for the "Resize". When I got it, they were bundling it with future release of ON1 RAW. I am waiting for the RAW to come. Till then I use ON1 to retouch images processed with NX-D.
