Keep getting error (blinking)message on 3300

Trying to take some photos today, I got some very overexposed and some underexposed. Even in auto mode. When I put the mode on shutter priority the aperature setting begins flashing and when on aperature priority, the shutter setting begins flashing. I tried cleaning the contacts on both lens and camera- to no avail. Anyone have any ideas? Paul

Try Factory reset..........

I think the contact cleanings finally helped the issue and maybe solved it. Thanks for the reply JH.

Sometimes just removing and reattaching the lens will do that trick.
