flash button is not working

few days ago my in my d5300 flash pop-out but it won't flash but automatically problem solved. but today while i am talking pictures flash didn't pop-out but it shoot flashes and i tried in manual mode but flash button is not working it didn't pop out but shooting flashes, i tried in all mode of camera settings flash didn't pop up but it flashes while shooting without poping out.

Take or send it back to where you bought it

Welcome to the forum Guru. It sounds like it needs to be repaired. That is not normal for the flash to do that.

Welcome to the forum Guru. I did see a video a while back on Youtube that talked about that failure and how to repair it. Seems there is a small plastic hook that will break off and the spring comes loose. It looked like a pain to fix. I would take it back if it is new and get it repaired or replaced.
