A damselfly on my finger - a close-up/macro video

Yesterday I recorded a video of me trying to pick up a damselfly with my finger from an aquatic plant and eventually succeeding. The damselfly stayed for several minutes on my finger and allowed me to record it from up close. :)


Recorded with Nikon 1 V1 and Nikon 1 Nikkor VR 10-30mm f/3.5-5.6.

Nicely done... IVN is now the damselfly whisperer??? ;)

Then again, although I don't have video or photo proof, I guess I could be the "mosquito whisperer" for the same reason!!!

Thank you all. After I finished editing the video and had uploaded it to YT, I realized that it's way too long. But since it took me 2-3 hours to edit it on my slow'ish laptop, I didn't have the patience to edit it again. Plus the temptation to include every usable scene was too great.
