Please forgive if this is in the wrong place. I have a Nikon D-300 and have been looking at these two Sigmas 50mm-500mm and 150mm-500mm lenses. I am looking for a lens for wild animals. I have read over the reports of each lens. I am finding conflicting information on each lens. I only would like to purchase one lens. I am looking for the sharpest lean at 500mm. I also looked at the Tamron 200mm-500mm but it has no IS. I am not concerned about the price difference between the two lenses. My current lens for animals is the nikon 80mm-400mm I would like the additional reach. Can someone help out with some advise.
