Nikon UK Warranty Recall Slow

Hi All, I started the process of 'Advisory Issue Recall' in U.K for the shutter problem about 3 months ago. They say I should wait for an email which may take 2-3 weeks! Last week I resubmitted a new return request, then had an automated email 'apologising for delay and thanking me for my continued patience'. We are now well into the best shooting season when I am using the camera most.

Is anybody else in U.K not getting Nikons return label to get their camera repaired? I'm not very impressed with Nikon Service if mine is an example of what happens when they have to correct a design defect on an expensive high end camera. Or perhaps this is just normal customer service for Nikon and other competing brands?
