I am an EMT. I work closely with the fire department in my day job, and in my off time I respond to large incidents as a photographer. I work closely with the County Fire Department's Public Information Officer, and the City Fire Department's Fire Chief. Both departments have supplied me with PPE (personal protective equipment) and also invite me to note worthy events, for example today the City Fire Chief emailed me to let me know that today the City will be taking delivery of a piece of steel from the 9/11 attacks, which will be memorialized.
