My name is Trey. I'm new to the forum. Most of what I do is photography for the local fire departments. I hope you enjoy my posts to come.

Nice gig, Trey!

Where are you? A big city, no doubt.
Bakersfield California. Big city it is not!

The city has about 300,000 people and the county itself, while geographically huge (three times the size of Connecticut) has a total population of 800,000. Very rural outside the one actual city. Several small towns dot the map. But I do take photos of other departments when I travel, such as Las Vegas in a couple photos there.

I'm also an EMT for our ambualnce provider, so that's another avenue by which the fire department knows me. They give me very good access.

What camera were you using for these? (no EXIF)

I couldn't imagine you carrying a DSLR when you are on the job.

I shoot with a D750 and a Tamron 70-200 f/2.8 or Nikon 16-35 f/4.

I should clarify, that NONE of my photos are taken while on duty due to patient privacy laws. I respond while off duty to major incidents to document them. I have been given a brush jacket and helmet by the local departments for safety when on scene of fires.
