we went on a training day, to learn about the processes at the reservoir, sorry no pics of the processes obviously or the the equipment, there are but not for public viewing, these are the areas that public are allowed to. Well almost but you can't actually get to the inlet.
Dam drainage - just trying my hand at DOF and visual trickery, this is maybe 8" wide and 12" deep max
you can't actually get to this unless staff, but this is the inlet and river overflow
Steps down from he top of the dam, the white markers are were the drainage channels are
River Churnet, which was dammed to make the reservoir, this is the continuation of said river.
