How many pictures have you taken in one session with your D750 ??

This past Sat (1/16/16) at the Conowingo Dam in MD, I took a little over 1300 pics in a little less than 3hrs. I saw about 15 eagles but around 500 seagulls.With all the birds flying around it was kinda hard for the continuous AF to keep focus on just one bird (Eagle). I was using my new Sigma 150-600mm lens. I don't have hard numbers but you've got me beat... By a fair margin.

I'm not sure that quantity is as significant as how many you get that are "good" ...

You got that right !! Out of the 1300 pics I took Sat, I only had about 10 true keepers

About 1560 at a gymnastics meet last week (2 hours or so). I was able to narrow that down to about 130 keepers. I'd say 1400 is average for me when shooting gymnastics.

I did shoot 6,000 in one day. But I was doing a time lapse of a car being wrapped.

About 600 at my friend's daughters wedding, but normally it is less than 40.
