Nikon D7200- Shooting with Strobes

Hi, I've recently switched to a Nikon D7200 and have been working shooting in a studio with strobe lighting. I haven't shot much in manual mode, and am a bit confused as to why I talk pictures with strobe flashes, the photos all come out completely white. I've played around with aperture and shutter speed and have my ISO set to around 100, but nothing fixes my problem!

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

You are adjusting the strobe's power levels, aren't you? If your shots are too white... Start by putting your camera in Manual mode. Set the speed to 200, and your aperture to F4... then start dialing down the strobe's power level...

Right, and the camera will have to be in Manual mode too. The cameras auto modes (Auto, A, S, or P modes) cannot react to the studio lights. Nor can Auto ISO. Instead, you adjust the lights power to be right for the the camera settings. Studio lights probably can do f/8.
