tethering

I have a 27in mac that I am trying to tether too. I am doing a lot of macro stuff and I want to be able to see the shot right away. Unfortunately with the new El Capitan update with apple its not supporting the tether. Yes they are working on it but that doesnt help me now. Anyone have any work arounds? I know there is a way for it to read from the memory card but I can't seem to find any info on how to do that.

Thanks in advance for any help.

No the mac doesn't recognize the camera. Its an issue with the new Mac upgrade adobe is aware and are working to fix the issue but who know how long that will take.

I see that... I don't normally tether, but did try it at your behest... My Mac doesn't see the camera... I'll try using a Wu-1b later to see if bluetooth connection works ( know it works)...but whether LR sees the camera with a Wifi connection...

Nikon, Adobe and others had 3 months to test their apps on El Capitan.
They both say the tethering does not work and are "working" on a fix.
They don't treat customers like customers in my mind.

That said I didn't test before upgrading and I am in the same situation.

I understand that Capture One tethering does work.

As a new Olympus user all their apps work including tethering.

Nikon need to up their game.
and
Adobe need to really get their QA sorted big time.
