The last in the elk series. This is the patriarch and matriarch of this herd. When I first got there and they noticed me, they placed themselves between me and the rest of their herd. When they did not sense a threat was when they all started moving towards me out of curiosity. The bull came within 8 feet of me. I was very glad there was a fence separating us! My 160 pounds is no match for 1400 and a 12 point rack!
