The "like" button

I have noticed that I cannot "like" a post unless some one else has "liked" it first and then not always, any reason?

try clearing your cache in Firefox. It sounds like something was cached incorrectly.

I use FireFox and don't have this issue. jdeg's suggestion should probably do the trick for you as I clear my cache frequently.

well it just worked now as I Liked bluenosers post with it

I'm pretty sure that whatever the issue is w/ this site, it's related to Firefox 5. There's some forum software that just isn't working properly with it...I'm still having cache issues, ever since I updated to Firefox 5. It's exclusive to this site too, I don't have any problems anywhere else.

^^^^ Yup....I use FF 5 and in addition to the lack of compatibility with some favourite add-ons and extensions from FF 4.* , it has been a bit buggy on occasion. Although I haven't noticed any problem on this site...yet.

Yeah, I'm having the same issues with FF 5, too. I hope Mozilla fixes these bugs soon. It's annoying. For instance, it isn't remembering my sign in name and password, even after I check off "remember my password".

I think the Bossman is trying to trick us. There had to of been some kind of update today...the site is running much faster for me now.

I love it when I don't do anything and things work better
