My New 85mm!

I have been wanting to get a 85mm lens. Went to Best Buy and saw the 1.8g for $500. My money decided that we wait for a while lol. Been checking out the BST sites and thought why not the 1.8d. For some reason I checked out Craigslist and low and behold someone local listed a 1.8d! I emailed the seller and he gave me his phone number. I told him after looking into the 1.8g that I could use the d lens. He said he had a g for sale also. I met him today and took pics with both. He said if I wanted the g lens I could have it for $250.....needless to say I'm the new owner of a Nikon 85mm 1.8g!

Wow. Just... Wow! Congrats. What a stellar lens it is, too.

It's a cracking lens. Sharper than anything else I have ever seen. You'll love it.

I've taken some shots with it here at work. It's amazingly sharp! can wait to get off and take some pics.
