strange effect

Took this the other day and noticed how the colour on the huts seems to go strange as they get further into the distance? I think this is due to the colour of the huts which is a bit like an RGB pattern

I think that what you are seeing is caused by haze. Warm weather will cause a decrease in contrast with the distance. Happens very often in the summer.
Took your original and just added some contrast and I think it got rid of the cast.

thxs there was no heat this was ear;y morning on the sea front and windy, that is the sea was rough and creating a slight mist from the spray.

this was the view the other way (180 degrees)

So it was the mist that was diluting the contrast and saturation. Post processing can help a bit, but mist will lower the resolution over long distance.
