Hi everyone, looking forward to learning and sharing on this great site. I guess the prodigal son has returned so to speak. My first camera, over 30 years ago was a Nikon 35mm. Through the years, I have owned various digital point and shoot cameras. Eventually I realized I wanted to reachieve the satisfaction from composing and creating photos like I did <back in the day> when I was using my first Nikon. I had a Nikon D90 for a while and then I tried mirrorless. Great photos, nice cameras, but it just did not <feel right>. I made the decision to sell my gear and return to DSLR. I just got D7100. I mainly shoot people, my dog, nature (macro), and city shots of 'scapes and streets.
