good printers?

helloooo! i'm currently looking for a new printer for my gcse things (our printer died a few days ago) what are good for all types of things like photos (usually on photo paper) and text documents etc and not too pricey..
so which one/s would you recommend??

Depends on how the mix of printing will go,with you doing GCSE will there be a lot of none photo work printed,if so i would look at Epson as there is always a good supply of cheap inks on ebay,i do very little photo printing so have always run mine on the cheaper inks.

Another vote for a Epson printer, like Mike said, you can get cheap ink of ebay, I paid £8 for 12 ink cartridges about 6 months ago, and they work fine.
the printer I have is just a basic Epson printer (sx425w)
