I saw this too. I'm surprised that it appears that the new body won't be released until early next year but encouraged that it may be at the same time as the D5. Based on the annual report comments that Nikon is getting more serious with the 1's, hopefully they will wow us?
Personally, I'd love to see them go back to the V2-like integrated EVF, at least equal the IQ from the J5 (which is wonderful BTW), make the EVF an advantage* over pentaprism and simultaneously release the rumored 9-30mm f/1.8-2.8 (24-81mm equivalent) lens. I would seriously purchase the V4 as described and the 9-30mm tomorrow.
*EVF advantage to me is a combination of things that Olympus and Fuji have done. Simple things like orienting the viewfinder display when you rotate the camera, displaying the histogram live, virtual level/horizon, magnification in for manual exposure, immediate feedback when utilizing exposure compensation or shooting B&W, etc.
