Error 04

I just got a flashing Err 04 message. The manual basically says nothing except I should take it to a dealer if it persists. Anyone know the cause and remedey?

Which camera do you have?
Does it say err 04 or r04
How old is the camera.

And have you tried anything to fix it.(so we don't repeat what you have done)

It is a two month old D7200. The error code has no 'r' in it. Turning the camera off and on does not help.

Have you removed/swapped the lens? I thought most of the Err 01 thru Err 09 were issues with the body not seeing the lens connection... and cleaning the contacts usually solves that issue...
