Camera Mount Repair

After last night's game, I'm realizing that I've got a problem with either my 70-200 mount or my D700 mount. I'll do some work to determine which is more the culprit, and then send the item needing repair to Nikon USA or a service center for repair.

Does anyone else have any experience with getting a lens/camera mount repaired? Any recommendations on who to send it to?

There is quite a bit of rotational movement between the lens and camera body when the lens is put onto the body and rotated to the locking position.

Do all your lenses have the problem or just this one?

Does the lens ultimately "lock' into position, and function properly?

I finally got a different lens (28mm) on the D700 and it is tight. No movement once the lens is on and locked.

It locks and functions, but I'm not sure if the functions are as good as they could be. Later today, I'm putting another lens or two onto the camera to see if these lenses are as secure as the 28 mm, or if they have significant movement when mounted.
