When I set my 750 to self timer, it fires off 6 shots. ??? If I switch on bracketing, it will shoot the number of frames I pick to bracket. But with bracketing off, it shoots 6. Any thoughts?

Check the Custom Setting menu: C3 (Self Timer). There's an option for "Number of shots".

Thanks Fish. That was the only place I didn't look. :stupid: Have no idea how it got set to 6 as it was a brand new body.
Secretly, somewhere... there's a guy who works the assembly line snickering at a world full of "6 shot wonders"...
