I'm Jeff. I came into photography recently as a hobby and a means of relaxation. I am very much a landscape photographer. I've always enjoyed taking pictures with my old Nikon Point-N-Shoot, but always felt that my pictures could be a lot better. A co-worker/friend who is...as much as it pains me to say it...a Canon fan, helped me push to buy my first DSLR.
A little over a month ago I was able to get a pretty good deal on a Nikon D3200 kit. I decided to start small and work my way up, as having played with DSLR's in the past, its quite the learning curve.
Future plans obviously include improving my photography skills, but likewise new equipment that includes a D610, a CF tripod (probably Vanguard) with a Real Right Stuff head/mount and an assortment of Sigma lenses(yes I'm a Sigma fan).
