Focus Point Selection

Does anyone know if the physical size of each focus point changes when selecting either 51 focus points or 11? in some cameras doing this can increase the center focus point size.

I can't answer if they change in size. However, I can tell you the cross type focal points are clustered in the center. If you were shooting continuous focus and need the focus to not miss then you want be using those.

Interesting, in 11 point i was still able to select the 9 point dynamic and it showed the cluster of 9 points on the focus selection on the back info screen, wonder what that is doing in that case if you select 11 point?

I was shooting with my D7100 today and changing points in portrait and landscape, my feeling is no, I was using 51 point settings but I've never seen a graphic or image discussing the D7100 or D7200 autofocus (or any of the recent FX bodies, I have a D700 also) that showed the focus points changing in size - just my experience.
