Hi all,

I am planing a trip into the deep dark Welsh woods waterfall hunting and don't want to run out of electricity.
I am sure one battery will be enough but better to be safe, its a bloody long walk in.

Any recommendations on 3rd party batteries for the D810? Are they worth the saving.

RRP on EL15 is £69 here but I have found it for £28.29 from expedite.

Thanks

I have a couple of EX-PRO from ebay which have a good reputation but i can only find them for the D800 dont know if the D810 are different.

I am using Vivitar batteries with great success. The price was great, they at least have a "brand name" stamped on them, and they are fully compatible with the camera and charger. They display the correct status and such when charging and using. I think I get a few more shots from them than my Nikon battery too.
