D-7000 slow and fast motion videoing

I have a D-7000 but have not used it much for video.

I used to have a 16mm film camera and the standard filming/playback speed was 24fps, but it was possible to either slow down (to 8fps) or speed up (to 64fps) filming so that on standard playback you achieved either fast motion or slow motion effects, as well it was possible to set the camera up to take something like 1 frame per second so that when played back you achieved a time-lapse effect.

I have looked in the D-7000 manual for any information on how to do the above, but have not found anything --- well nothing obvious !!!

I have however seen on this forum a number of postings by forum members where they have time-lapse videos, but it appears that most were shot using the camera in still mode then the individual photos were imported into a video editing program and then exported as a continuous video.

Can anyone advise if it is possible to do what I used to be able to do in the D-7000 in video mode.

If possible, any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

David
