Yep I picked this kit up. I typically only shoot wide open if it's a necessity (ie. looking for more DOF or need more light and don't want to compensate with ISO).

Hi,

I have.
Did buy the kit with 24-85 lens,but decided the 24-120 was better for me.
So now I have my D750 with the 24-120 lens.
Very good, practical, walk around, no-nonsence lens.

I bought the D750 with the 24-120mm lens... It's a decent lens and only added about $400 to the price of buying just the body, so I pulled the trigger.

I also own the Nikon 28-300mm f/3.5 so I find myself using that quite a bit more for the extra stop and significantly longer tele... but if I didn't have that I'd be using the 24-120mm as my primary carry-around zoom.
