The above photo was taken with a 24-70 lens which I had to crop quite a bit to get the result...I quickly changed to a 70-200 and got this photo from a closer vantage point...
I like the first photo better than the second, because with the foreground landscape, it gives it a better feeling of depth/definition. The second photo is "flat".
