Date Stamp issue

When I am in GUIDE mode, there is a the date / time stamp on all the photos. Yes, I have been into SET UP MENU and made sure PRINT DATE is OFF but these annoying date / time stamps keep appearing on all the photos. They don't appear when the camera is in AUTO mode, or any of the other modes.

When you say you turned it off in set up, were you in the regular setup menu or the setup menu within guide mode? Check the setup menu within guide mode. I flipped through the pdf manual and it looks like certain settings that are set within guide mode do not carry over to the regular settings. Print date is one of those settings. p44.
