Vintage, antique, equipment from a by-gone era, call it what you like.
Lets see some pictures of old gear.

I do not have much of a collection but I'll post what I've got.

Simple idea - if it could take a picture (or make a movie) then post it.

You can decide how "old" it has to be to be considered "old" gear.

No, I have no idea if this beastie still works.

And as an FYI: Everything here works and most of it actually gets used on a regular basis.

Some gear porn at the local camera store:

This is all part of a private collection that the owner of the store puts on display on occasion.

I still have my old cameras :)

Started with the GAF 126 my parents gave me in the 70s

Moved on to a Kodak 110 camera. Took this (and yes I wore the case like a true tourist) on a trip to Disneyworld in Florida in the mid-late 70s

Kodak Tele-EKTRA 1 by Joe Lopez, on Flickr

Saved up to buy the Minolta XG1 in the late 70s

Minolta XG 1 w/Auto 200x flash by Joe Lopez, on Flickr

Had a few film/digital point and shoots until I bought the D40 in 2007.

This shows a change in technology, 126 vs Galaxy S3

My D-series collection:

Old%20D%20lenses%20post.jpg

L to R: 28-200 My 'streetsweeper' lens. The one, go-to lens for both film & digital if I have to take just ONE lens.
28/2.8 A nice, everyday WA.
35-105. Just completed a cross-country trip between 17 Nikon shooters scattered across the US. I sent the lens out back in September, and it arrived back to me yesterday. Our work can be seen here.
20/2.8 Compliments the 28 for UWA needs.

Not sure if she's considered old, but surely by today's standards... Not quite as tank like as my f2as, but parts are still available and the motordrive is flawless. I think this may take over daily tasks soon.
