I just joined the group. I live in Marble Falls, Texas. I'm one that doesn't buy much new equipment. I still shoot regularly with the D1 and D1x. I did acquire a D2x earlier this week. I'm not too familiar with it yet. All my 10 AI and converted to AI lenses are ancient relics. I don't have any zooms or auto-focus lenses. They are from my old FT2 days. But that's what I like. I mostly enjoy landscapes and macro.
