im going to have a play whaen i get 5, but as a marker im posting links to a couple of my holiday snaps (that survived the corrupted sd) to see how close i can get as a novice to some of you guys n gals in comparison if anyone fancy's having a play with these..

I can't open these. When clicking on these I am prompted to sign up and create an account. To much trouble to just view images.

can someone tell me why i cannot add the picture in this link either as an attachment or direct insert? ive got no idea why some appear to work and some dont, it makes no sense some ive added in the past are larger than ones im trying to add ive even treid 500 pixels which gives the pic 92kb in size?

im using nx2 to convert to jpg if that makes any difference?

If you want to post images they need to be in .JPG format; not .TIFF or .NEF or anything else. They need to be 1,000 pixels or less on the long edge. The easiest way to get an image into your post is to use the "Insert Image" icon on the formatting toolbar of the New Post dialog box; it's the third icon from the right.

On the dialog box that appears, click on the "From Computer" tab at the top, then click the "Select Files" button. Navigate to your photo and click on the "Open" button. From the new dialog box that opens click on "Upload File(s)". You'll see your picture has been attached:

Or you may see a thumbnail of your photo. If you see the thumbnail of your photo double click on it and you can adjust the size of the image. If you see text, like I've entered above, click on the "Switch Editor to WYSIWYG Mode" button, the icon on the far left of the formatting toolbar. This will make your photo appear so you can double click on it to adjust the size. Use the "Preview" button to ensure everything looks good and/or make any necessary changes and then submit your post.

hmm thats odd then all i get is the red exclamation mark?
what could this be?, my internet seems fine i have sky fiber 10mb upload speed, a good stable system, its obv not the pic as you uploaded it
