Self Timer Doesn't Fire Multiple Shots

Hi,

In the past, I never had any trouble, but when I recently tried setting the self timer to (blank) seconds, and number of shots to anything above 1, the timer works but the number of shots always remains 1 regardless of what setting I have inputted in c3. Does anyone know of any possible programming conflicts to cause this? I'm using flash, and bracketing is off. When I turn off flash, it works normally. Is this expected? It seems odd to me.

The internal flash will only allow one picture. See the shaded box at end of the self timer section of the manual. Page 107.

This is also true of the CH and CL continuous shutter modes, only one picture if internal flash.

A hot shoe flash would not be limited that way.
