Wacky races

We attended the annual wacky races on the Monday holiday and there were some great home made vehicles and the fastest time was 35mph!

There was also other entertainment and the weather was kind, dry and sunny and well attended.

I took just the D810+28-300 and it proved the perfect combo for a single lens shoot.

Have a break for a while before the next event but plenty going on this year to make it photographically interesting.

Ever seen the racing sausages of the Milwaukee Brewers? Or the racing presidents of the Washington Nationals?

Very good shots, seen a programme on the tv called, "soap box races", just like this event.

Thanks for the feedback, this is after all "Little old England" we still have stagecoaches in some places so some of these are a step up!

I think Red Bull do an event at Alexandra Palace every year.... Very funny to watch, I'd love to get there one year and watch.

I bet that is a class event if Red Bull are involved - I bet they have wings!!!!!
